EL HADJ EL ANKA made a promotional 45 rpm record for Shell stations in Algeria

Offered at Shell gas stations in 1963.

It should be noted that El Anka is not the only artist to have advertised for a company and that this is not demeaning as some believe. Mohamed Touri had recorded a 78 rpm record in the 1940s entitled: "The Algerian Lottery". Other great comedians such as Hassan Hassani have advertised for companies on television.
