Two-Person Electric Luxury Concept Delivers Vision for Future Personal Mobility Focused on Improving the Passenger Experience, Expands Cadillac Halo Concept Portfolio

Cadillac has broadened its vision of autonomous mobility with the InnerSpace concept - a spectacular two-passenger electric and autonomous luxury vehicle.

Leveraging cutting-edge technologies designed to enhance the passenger experience as well as the increased personal time afforded by fully autonomous mobility, InnerSpace is developing the Cadillac Halo Concept vehicle portfolio designed to not only move passengers through an environment luxurious, but also improve their well-being. Cadillac showcased the first two Halo concepts last year at CES: PersonalSpace, a one-seater personal vertical take-off and landing concept designed to literally move its passenger above the din and congestion of ground traffic, and SocialSpace, a spacious and self-contained vehicle for up to six people, designed to help passengers relax and rejuvenate.

The vehicle's fully autonomous capability means they could explore more of the world around them, as well as inside the vehicle, with more personal and personalized experiences that add new dimensions to the signature Cadillac luxury experience. . AI-driven biometric entry and interfaces, accessed via a large, immersive and panoramic SMD LED display, allow passengers to choose from themes of augmented reality engagement, entertainment, and well-being recovery for their route. With the Ultium platform's wireless battery management system, the battery modules are distributed throughout the concept vehicle, allowing designers to optimize the cabin for more space and peace of mind. On the outside, the spectacularly designed InnerSpace features large panoramic windows on the roof and part of the sides of the body for an almost unobstructed view. The roof opens with the doors for a more comfortable entry and exit, and the seats also pivot outward when the doors are open, enhancing the effect.

Even the InnerSpace's tires are designed to help provide comfort. Developed by Goodyear for electrified vehicles, they feature SoundComfort technology designed to help dampen resonance of sound waves in the tire for a quiet ride, while soybean oil and rice husk silica replace petroleum-based oil as a key ingredient in their construction. And because autonomous driving removes part of the driver's connection to the road, Goodyear SightLine, Goodyear's tire intelligence technology, conveys important information about pressure, temperature, load and other factors. performance.
