Hispano Suiza, a Swiss manufacturer, reveals the first official images of its future hypercar, the Maguari HS1 GTC, whose 5.5-liter V10 spits out up to 1085 horsepower!
The Hispano Suiza Maguari HS1 GTC was first shown in concept form in 2019, following an earlier concept car from 2010. The company originally planned to reveal the final production version in June 2020 at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles, but the unveiling was canceled due to the pandemic. Despite the difficulties, Hispano Suiza continued technical development of its supercar alongside production preparations, with facilities located in Munich, Germany. The Maguary HS1 GTC has evolved slightly in terms of exterior design.
Disappearing from the radar for several years, the Hispano Suiza brand, founded in Barcelona in 1904 by the Swiss engineer Marc Birkigt and the Spanish entrepreneurs Damià Mateu i Bisa and Francisco Seix Zaya and discontinued in 1938, is back in force with two original models. distinct:

If you are interested in this car, be careful not to get the wrong brand. Indeed, Hispano Suiza exists twice. One, Spanish and based in Barcelona, is behind in particular the supercar Carmen, an electric GT of more than 1,000 hp, produced in 19 copies for a price of 1.5 million euros.
And for the Maguari HS1 GTC supercar, the Automobilmanufaktur, based in Zurich, is in charge.
1085 HP UNDER THE HOOD
First of all, this supercar will not be electric, which is rare enough these days to be underlined. The Swiss manufacturer has decided to integrate a 5.5-litre V10 that develops 1,085 hp for 1,050 Nm of torque at the rear wheels. This is associated with a seven-speed sequential gearbox and allows to establish a 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds for a maximum speed of 380 km/h.
This supercar is also very large: 5.10 meters long, 2.10 meters wide, 1.25 meters high and weighs around 1,800 kg. The price ? It should be around 2 million euros for a car produced in 300 copies over a period of six years, or fifty deliveries per year.
Imminent arrival
The first examples will be presented by the fourth quarter of 2022 in Los Angeles and at other public and private events in the United States (Laguna Seca Raceway), Europe (Circuit Paul Ricard in France, Goodwood in England) and the United Arab Emirates (Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi). As for the first customer deliveries, these are scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
